Spiritual Life

Holy Apostles College and Seminary has daily Mass at Our Lady Queen of the Apostles Chapel. The Mass schedule can be found on the Chapel page, Our Lady Queen of the Apostles Chapel.

Students have opportunities to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession) throughout the week or join the community in evening prayer daily.

Eucharistic Adoration and Benediction are offered weekly.

Student Clubs & Activities

At Holy Apostles, we encourage our students to form relationships and engage with their peers outside of the online “classroom.” Not only do our students form authentic friendships, but they find new and creative ways of applying the materials they learn.

Apostles for Christ

Apostles for Christ is a supportive space for prayer, reflection, and growth in faith—guided by the Holy Spirit and the Magisterium of the Catholic Church.

Our Mission:

  • Help students encounter the love and mercy of Jesus Christ
  • Encourage the discovery of each person’s unique calling
  • Inspire lives of purpose and meaning rooted in the Gospel

What We Do:

  • Meet biweekly for prayer with Sacred Scripture and the Divine Office
  • Create a vibrant, welcoming environment for authentic relationships
  • Foster spiritual growth and a commitment to living the Gospel

At Each Meeting:

  • Lift up fellow students and their intentions in prayer
  • Entrust these intentions to Our Lord’s Sacred Heart through the prayers of the Church

The St. Athanasius Debate Club

St. Athanasius Debate Club is a space for students to engage in charitable, structured debates on topics in philosophy, theology, and apologetics. Named after St. Athanasius—patron of theologians and faithful Christians—we aim to emulate his steadfast commitment to truth and his example of reasoned dialectic when confronting ideas scrutinized by society. The club provides an opportunity to practice the skills you learn at Holy Apostles and apply them in real‑world contexts. No prior debate experience is required; we are all learning together.
^

Defenders of the Faith

A group for students at Holy Apostles to share questions, opinions, information and advice on apologetics topics that we encounter, from current events, issues in the Church, theological or philosophical dilemmas, or moral obstacles.

St. Honore’s Kitchen Guild

A place for those who love to cook and bake, or who are just learning. Share recipes and challenge yourself to learn new skills in the kitchen!

The Imaginari

Following in Tolkien’s footsteps, we strive to create Catholic works that honor God and draw souls to Him through truth, beauty, and tradition.

Life League

The student-run Life League, which coordinates pro-life activities, is quite active. Its activities include a prayer vigil on Saturday mornings at one of the abortion clinics in Hartford during the academic year, followed by the Mass of Mercy in the seminary chapel. A very large joint representation of the student body takes part in the March for Life in January.
